Is this a junk cleaner?

No. DataDance is a path-preserving storage relocation tool. It moves data you choose to an external volume and leaves links at the original paths. It is not an optimizer, antivirus, or “speed up your Mac” utility.

What happens if I unplug the external disk?

Automatic relocation pauses. Already-moved items that need the volume will prompt you to reconnect — they should not crash the app that opens them.

Do I need Full Disk Access?

Only if you want scans of protected locations. You can use DataDance with narrower access; grant FDA only when you are comfortable.

What will DataDance never do?

It is not a junk cleaner or “speed up your Mac” tool. It does not silently delete your files. It does not relocate mail or chat libraries. It does not take over your whole iCloud Drive. Relocations are path-preserving and reversible.

How do I buy DataDance?

Mac App Store in-app purchase is the primary paid path. A direct $49 one-time Gumroad checkout is the backup once published. Neither App Store IAP nor Gumroad is live yet — we will not publish fake payment links. Direct Developer ID download is available below.

Will it be on the Mac App Store?

Yes — we are submitting / connecting DataDance (外盘智管) to the Mac App Store. App Store IAP is the main monetization plan. Availability will be announced when approved; until then, treat App Store CTAs as “coming soon.”
